The 1.7-hectare-width Hero Cemetery (TMP) development in the Tegal Alur Public Cemetery (TPU), Kalideres, West Jakarta has reached 30 percent.

Jakarta Forestry Agency's Cemetery Division Head Siti Hasni said the land fencing that aims to mark the boundaries of the TMP area with Tegal Alur TPU has been completed. Currently the work focus is on arranging the tomb area.

1.7-Hectare Land Prepared for Heroes CemeteryHe stated the cemetery would have supporting facilities such as, fountains, guard posts and membrane rest areas on the main road.
It can accommodate 2,500 tombs and will operate next year.
"Next year we will make a parking area and a funeral ceremony place," he stated.
